NEIL RUDDOCK has been linked with a move to Second Division strugglers Swindon Town. The former Liverpool defender is out of favour at Selhurst Park but Swindon could end his misery at Crystal Palace soon.
NEIL RUDDOCK was told by manager Alan Smith that he wasn't needed anymore in January this year.
The veteran defender only played one game for the reserves after being dropped by Smith because of problems with referees and with his weight.
A few weeks ago RUDDOCK, who can leave Selhurst Park on a free transfer, was linked with Oxford United but that came to nothing.
Swindon Town are now believed to be following the former England international being just two points away from dropping into the Second Division relegation zone.
RUDDOCK, who is confident that he will be moving before the transfer deadline, might be the player to pull Swindon clear.
